The truck that pulled the Longhorn Express sold

Penske Power Systems Brisbane has sold the Western Star 4800FXB which pulled the Longhorn Express to John Symes Transport and ending the long term association with the iconic R.M. Williams brand.

Painted by PJ’s Custom Spray Painting the finished vehicle represented the values and vision of the iconic bush outfitter’s brand.

Images on this truck include Reginald Murray Williams, widely known as ‘RM’, and the traditional Longhorn logo.

The truck has spent several years travelling the countryside attending all sorts of events pulling the R.M. Williams mobile shop.

The 4800FXB is powered by a Detroit DD15 560hp engine and comes complete with a range of features including a 40” stratosphere sleeper, leather seats, alloy wheels, bull bar and walk plates, LED lighting, stainless steel guards and light bar.
