Over 3,000 people came to check out over 150 big rigs in the Casino CBD at the 2016 North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show in August. “Keeping the Casino Truck Show in the CBD has been a huge success and it was fantastic seeing so many people and truck companies coming to town,” says Stuart George, President of the Casino Beef Week Promotions Committee.

Event organisers made sure to offer something fun for everyone at the 5th Casino Truck Show: over 150 blinged up trucks from all over Australia, live music by Kerry Kennedy & Double Barrel Band, kids entertainers and face painters, food and market stalls and great amusement rides for the big and young kids.

There even was a free train to hop on and off for adults and kids, a super-jet coaster and a giant yellow heavy hauler truck slide. The big truck show raffle was also a huge success with great prizes won by the lucky winners.

Mark from Causley Transport won the legendary 2016 Rig of the Show trophy and the $1,000 cash prize with his red Kenworth. Next Casino Truck Show date: 7th of August 2017… always on the first Saturday of August! [Archive note: the printed 2017 preview gives “7th of August” while also saying the first Saturday of August. These conflict; the original wording is retained as historical reporting.]
