For 25 years the Old Station Flying Club has staged a unique and very popular Fly-in air show. They changed the format in 2011 to include a tractor pull and an increasingly popular truck show. Daniel Murphy was there to get the story.

On the 27th to the 29th of May 2016, the Creed Grazing Co. celebrated its 25th annual Old Station Fly In and Heritage Show. This show brings wings, tractors and trucks to one great long weekend show with camping grounds available on site.

This is a not-for-profit show which supports the RACQ Rescue and Care Flight helicopters. The team behind the event are very committed to providing a great venue with an enjoyable atmosphere to promote its aviation show in Australia.

The event attracts more than five hundred aviators and fifteen thousand visitors over the three day long event.

As well as the static displays, planes, tractors and trucks, the event also had a spectacular air display.

In the air the Red Bull air racer Matt Hall, the RAAF Roulettes and many other stunt flyers put on a high flying spectacular overhead.

If none of that excited you, the bar was always open near the wood cutting event and tractor rides ran all day along with MIG display. See you there next year!
