Bathurst Truck Show 2017 — a crowd undeterred by rain

The original ACT pictorial captures the trucks and people who made a wet Bathurst show a memorable day.

Original ACT archive report, Issue 15 (2018). No individual writer or photographer is identified in the retained report.

Wet weather was the theme at the 2017 Bathurst Truck Show but that didn’t deter a strong crowd from coming and enjoying the day. As you can see by the great people we met on our travels, the spirit of the crowd was not dampened by the rain outside.

We used the inside of the Truckfest trailer to take most of the people shots. The weather is one thing you just can’t control with a truck show. It was interesting seeing some of the trucks escaping the grounds. Heroes were made that day. The previous year was the complete opposite, hot and sunny. Who knows what Bathurst will bring in 2018. We’ll have to wait and see!
