There is something big happening in South East Queensland and it is boosting up shows left right and centre.

This year’s Heritage Truck Association annual Rocklea Truck Show really was full. Where there was space last year it seemed, there was none. The space was filled with trucks, engines, buses and everything from the past.

Many of the vehicles have been restored by members of the Association that take great pride in being able to show them off at the annual show. We thank them for preserving a rich history.

With a parade around the oval, a massive military tank and plenty to see and do you have to put the Rocklea Truck Show on your to do list. It’s not a glitz and glamour show but it is a time capsule to see how far transport has evolved. It is a club style event and for members it is an awesome opportunity to get together with their mates. Coupled with camping, a dinner and a general good vibe, it gets a massive tick of approval.
