Go EV unveils transportable 640kW charging skid for electric truck fleets

News · October 31, 2026

Australian charging specialist Go EV has introduced ChargeNOW, a transportable charging package designed to help electric truck operators deploy high-power charging without first building a permanent charging installation.

The 20-foot skid combines a Sinexcel DC charger rated at 640kW with a battery energy storage system (BESS), electrical distribution equipment and remote monitoring. Go EV lists a 125kW/261kWh battery unit, with capacity to add a second unit.

According to the company’s product specifications, the liquid-cooled CCS2 charger is rated at 500A continuous and up to 700A boost. The onboard distribution board accepts supplies of up to 1000A, while Go EV states that a minimum 400A connection and level hardstand are required for deployment.

The supplier says the battery can supplement grid power during charging and that multiple skids can pool storage across a site. The arrangement is aimed at truck depots, freight corridors and temporary industrial operations where the available electrical supply may not support conventional high-power charging infrastructure.

However, the 640kW figure is the charger’s rated capacity, not a guaranteed charging rate at every depot. Actual output and duration depend on the site’s electrical supply, the battery’s state of charge and the vehicle’s charging capability.

Go EV promotes delivery, connection and commissioning within a short deployment window, subject to site conditions. Pricing, confirmed customer installations and independently measured in-service performance were not established from the company’s undated product page.
