The appointment follows the announced retirement of Ian Williams, who has served as chair and a director of Lindsay Australia during a period of expansion for the national transport, logistics and rural supply business.

Boys joined Lindsay Australia’s board in April 2025 and has chaired its audit and risk committee. He has more than 30 years’ executive and board experience across industries including transport, logistics and retail.

The company highlighted Williams’ contribution to governance and growth, including the development of its national network and acquisitions, most recently SRT Logistics.

Lindsay Australia operates refrigerated and general freight transport alongside rural supply and logistics services, including its Lindsay Transport business.

As the AGM is yet to take place, the change remains prospective: Boys is due to assume the chairmanship on 6 November rather than having already taken the role.
